Yesterday was Sunday and we actually made it to church on time. I'm feel like I'm finally getting the hang of 3 kids. We had the family over for dinner and as I was making dinner the sink got clogged and was like a water fountain shooting up out of the drain. I tried some plunging and liquid plummer but it looks like I might have to call an actual plummer.

Sean is doing much better. Last night it was like a switch went off and he got his brain back. He is not feeling dizzy any more and can think clearly. We are grateful. His back is still sore but that may take some time.

Tonight for Sommer's birthday we are just having a little family party. She requested tacos for dinner. I got her a little chocolate cake and some flowers. We are saving her big party for when the family is here. She is excited it's her birthday.

Olivia said something cute. I asked her to do somersalt for me and she looked at me with a furrowed brow and said "No, it's a LiLisalt". She keeps us laughing. Yesterday she also said, "Mom there's poop on our house." I said "what?" She said, "There's poop on our floor on our house." I said. "WHERE?!" She said, "Look under that toilet paper" (on the floor I might add) The joys of motherhood.

Erik continues to be delightful.

Happy Birthday Sommer!

Sommer turns 8 today. She is a wonderful girl and we are so proud of her. She will be getting baptised on March 11. Posted by Picasa

February 25, 2006

Well Saturday has come and gone pretty much like any other day. Sean seems to be feeling a little better today. His back has been sore but his brain seems to be functioning a little quicker. We are hopeful he will be able to work on Monday. Sommer is busy planning her birthday party. The list of invites is huge as usual. We are having her friend party on March 10 hopefully. A little late this year but we wanted her cousins from Utah to be able to come. She will be 8 on Monday. We can't believe how fast time goes. I'm off to do the dishes and make Hersey pie for tomorrow.

February 24, 2006

Thus ends my first day of blogging. I think Scott may have created a monster. There are some typos and incorrect dates but hopefully my blogging skills will improve.

Sean survived his first half day back to work after the accident. It was really difficult for him. He is still dizzy and has a hard time focusing. We hope we are at the tail end of this and that he will be ok for Monday. Thank heaven he was wearing his helmet.

I'm off to watch a movie now, after all it is Friday night and I should do something fun. "Just Like Heaven" I've heard it's good.

Erik's Blessing

A full view of Erik in his blessing outfit. His booties are from our good friends the Bartolillo's, straight from Italy. They believe you will have a life of good health if you wear them home from the hospital, which Erik did. Posted by Picasa

Hi All,
Scott has introduced me to a whole new world of blogging. It is so fun, and a great way to keep in touch. Sean is back at work today after the skiing accident. We hope he remembers that he is a dentist and not a pediatrist. His concusion continues to linger but his muscle issues have improved. Anyway I have to run I have an RSP meeting.
Later.
