Today we went to Cardston to attend the wedding of one of my Beehives. She of course is now 20. It was exciting to be invited and participate in her special day. Man we're getting old. It makes you feel good to know that you made a small difference in someone's life by trying to do your calling. Melinda and Michael watched the children. Thank You! I don't think the children missed us at all. They love to be with their aunt and uncle. It's now 10:30pm Olivia is still moving around up there. That's what happens when she takes a nap. Sean and I are very tired. We had to be on the road at 7:00am. Well, I'm going to bed. Good night.

Tonight Olivia learned how to ride a 2 wheeler. Ok well there's still training wheels on it but she did awesome anyway. She is very excited to have inherited Sommer's bike and to be able to ride a big girl bike. She is frighteningly daring, flying up and down the curb. It took some convincing for her to realize that braking was a good thing. Erik now has Olivia's tricyle and has high hopes that his feet will one day touch the pedals. He likes to try anyway. Sommer is an old pro.

Scott took these of Sommer at the park. I love the hair and how carefree she looks.

Hello Again

How awesome are ipods and itunes. It has brought music back into my life. Music just makes things so much more fun. I can run around and clean while listening to my ipod and I feel like I get so much more done, and it's not quite as painful. So life has been going on as usual. It finally feels like spring is on it's way which is great. Olivia has been outside every chance she can get. Her little friend Brenden got back from a month long trip to Hawaii and she is excited to be able to play. She was special helper at school today. That means she brought the snack and some stuffed animals to share for show and share. She is extremely smart and high energy. She is going to keep up on our toes. She seems to have turned a corner with the bladder issues. She's staying dry and not having any pain. Sommer has been home from school for the past couple of days with a cold. Nothing too bad but she has a nasty cough that wakes her up in the night. She is getting ready for the provincial exams. She has improved a lot in school. Tonight she will finish her second chapter book 50 pages and more. She got her braces off and has a new retainer. Her smile is beautiful. She looks so grown up. Erik is wonderful. I forget how fun this age is. He is adding little words to his vocabulary like, hi, shoes, moma, stinky, papa, daddy and go to name a few. Ok well pretty much all of them. He is such an easy pleasant little boy. He does like to make messes, throw things and climb on things though. Sean and I are rolling along. Sean is really busy at work which is good. He is having some staff changes which is hard. His assistant left to have a baby but it seems he found someone good to replace her and Melinda is leaving. Sad but we still like her. Fortunately she is going to work until we can replace her. Church keeps Sean busy. Tonight the young men are going to his office to learn about being a dentist and then he has bishopric meeting after that. I am liking my calling a little bit. Our primary is singing in sacrament meeting for mother's day. That stresses me out a little. I bribed the children so hopefully that will help. I confess I have started a new weightloss program. I don't want to say what just yet because I don't want to jinx it. I have lost 6 pounds in the first week and a half. I have done this one before and it has worked really well. It just takes sticking to it. Fortunately we have no plans to go out of town until July. That always kills me. We are also not eating out at all. That also kills me. Well that's about it for now. The Molly's come tomorrow and I'm cleaning up a head of time. I've been going through the toys and the kids clothes, getting rid of stuff. It feels good. Right now I'm listening to Catherine McPhee(sp)'s song and I really like it. She should have won. Oh one more thing... for FHE on Monday we planted a bunch of veggie seeds in little cups because we are going to do a garden this year. I know... we have no idea what we are doing. It will be interesting to see if we actually get some veggies. The kids loved it.
