We're Still Alive in Kalispell
Merry Christmas everyone! Even if it is a little bit late. We are still in Kalispell. I was so tired when by the time we arrived I still don't have the umpf to pack up and head home. We have been having a nice relaxing time. We will probably head home on Tuesday. I'll try to write more later. Right now I need to give the kids a bath for church tomorrow.

Good Times
Judy and Kerri inspired me to write something this morning even though I have a bajillion things to do and I'm exhausted. Sean's brother and his wife arrived on Sunday and his Dad arrived on Monday. It was fun to see all them. Unfortunately on Monday Sean got the flu. I'm pretty sure it's the same the kids had last week. He's been really sick, fever the whole bit. He had to take the rest of the week off work. Which is really bad timing because they are about to take 2 weeks off for construction. Fortunately the ladies at work were able to successfully reschedule everything. Thank you! Yesterday the nurse that works for us called and offered to come over and give Sean IV vitamin C. So we took her up on that and then all of us decided it might be a good idea. So all the adults in the house sat around and watched a movie hooked up to IV bags. We know how to entertain at our house. Hopefully it will help prevent the rest of us from getting sick. Today the Molly's are coming and then I HAVE TO GET TO THE MALL. I still have some Christmas stuff to finish up. We're hoping to be able to head to Montana tomorrow. Hopefully Sean will be well enough and I will be able to finish everything up. Are we having fun yet?

Sick Kids
Can I be any more tired? Probably... All three of my kids have been really sick with fevers and colds. Erik started last Friday night, Livy on Saturday and Sommer on Sunday. Between the 3 of them I've hardly been able to get any sleep. Poor little chickadees they feel really lousy. They haven't been this sick in a long time. Hopefully we'll get in all over with before the holidays. Lucky me got the most disgusting cold sore on my chin of all places. Let's just say I'm not too sad that I haven't been able to leave the house since Friday. It's about the size of a nickel. Sean wanted to blog a picture of it but no thanks. I am getting more and more behind in my Christmas preparations. I still have some shopping to do. Today I'm getting my carpets cleaned which is kind of a pain but always enjoyable when it's completed. Tomorrow Erik has an appointment with the nephrologist for a kidney/urine reflux check-up. I'm pretty sure that the Dr will want to schedule another dye test to see if Erik's issue has improved. I'm not looking forward to that but it's necessary. Friday is our work dinner at the Calgary tower. I am looking forward to that. It should be fun. I hope they like their presents. Saturday we are having a family breakfast/FHE which will be nice. Saturday night we are going to the Pearsons and Sunday Jamie and Annamarie (Sean's brother) get here. So somewhere in there I hope to finish shopping and clean my house and figure out some vegetarian meals for Sean's brother. Well I should run. I have to pick up all the stuff off my floors.

Banff Springs
So last Friday was the big Banff trip with Mom, Judy, Erin and Melinda. Good times were had by all. I can't believe I'm the first one to blog it. It was blissful to be without children or responsibility even if it was on 24 hours. The Banff Springs hotel is a castle. We had a yummy meal in the restaurant and then explored for almost 2 hours. Melinda of course took a bunch of pictures which maybe one day we will see on the blog. It was nice to be able to visit and laugh. I actually slept, and on Sean's orders I did not stress about him or the children. Thankfully Erik cooperated and slept quite well. The next morning we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and took some more pictures before we went into town for a little shopping. We returned home around 4. Then we went for Chinese and had a surprise early birthday party for Judy. It was great to have Judy come. Next year maybe we'll get more sisters. Thanks to Sean for supporting me in my little get away. I couldn't of done it without you.
A little side note.... Liv has come up with a new word. When she is frusterated or upset about something she says she's separated. She asked me when I was upset if I was separated. We're quite sure she means frusterated but separated is so cute.
