Saturday, Saturday to the tune of Elton John

Sean is at the emergency preparedness fair. I decided to stay home with the kids. I can't see getting too much out of it with the children in toe. Livy crashed and is having a nap. Erik is in his beloved exersaucer. Sommer is playing Winxclub on the computer. We went through the stuffed animals this morning and the girls got to choose 5 each to keep, which ended up being more like 8 each. We are going to give the rest away to children who will appreciate them. The next thing to go through is the toy cupboards. Is that how you spell cupboards? I'm sick of cleaning up so many toys. The kids had fun with the neighborhood kids yesterday. They put their bathing suits (babing suits as Sommer still calls them) on and put the sprinkler under the trampoline and jumped and screamed. After the kids went to bed Sean and I watched that Jim Carey movie something Dick and Jane. It had some funny parts but was a little more serious than I expected. It was ok. Today is pretty low key. After the fair Sean is going to run some errands and I am going to try to keep the house clean and do a little more laundry. We're talking about having some people over tonight to watch the game on the big screen. We'll see if that actually happens.

Friday YAY!

Another week accomplished and it's a beautiful day outside. The girls are out jumping on the trampoline having a good ole time with Ashley the neighbor. Erik is playing in his exersaucer which he loves. I just got in all cleaned up for him this afternoon.
As you can see he is very serious about playing. Surprise surprise I went to Costco today. I got some shorts and bathing suits for my Hawaii trip. The shorts are a definite success. They fit well and they are very long. I still have to try the bathing suits on and that is always scarey. Sean's recovery is coming right along. He should be just fine for Hawaii, especially since he soaks his foot in vinegar and salt water twice a day. Here is a picture for you.
It now looks worse than it feels says Sean. It's youth conference this weekend and thus babysitters are scarce. Therefore, we are staying home tonight. We may or may not do something with the Pearsons because Sean is supposed to be going on a visit with the missionaries. AHHH the bishopric. Oh I'm down 12 now. YAY!

Sean's toe is feeling way better today. He was able to go to work. Cade told him to wear a really stiff shoe and that helps a lot. I think he's on the mend now hopefully nothing else will happen to him. Today was a day. I cleaned my house this morning and had a cry while I was cleaning. It is the never ending job. I'm grateful to have the Molly's come and finish it off for me. I could never keep up. Livy goes around the house and makes new messes while I'm cleaning the old ones. I ordered Erik's birth certificate for the trip to Hawaii. It should be here in a week. I picked up mail from Rocky Mountain. Always a pleasure to go back there. I took dinner to the Reeves... they just had another baby boy. I made a pot roast and it turned out pretty dang good if I do say so myself. The girls are outside jumping right now and Sean is watching them so I was having some peace and quiet but Erik just woke up so it's time to go.

Toe Day 6

Well the last few days have been consumed by the toe. Today after the nail removal Sean has been in a lot of pain. He had to take the day off work. Apparently because there was so much bleeding the Dr had to chemically cauterize it which is likely causing the pain. I have a lovely picture that I will post later. To make Sean feel better we decided to go to Hawaii in May. Sean's parents had a trip planned and invited us to come along. How could we turn down a week of accomodations in Hawaii. So the girls will stay with Melinda and Michael. THANK YOU PALMERS! And Erik will get his first trip to Hawaii. I'm so grateful to have family around to watch the kids otherwise I could never bring myself to leave them. They are excited to stay with auntie Lela and we promised to bring them a present for every day we are gone. Erik has definitely found his voice. He is getting quite noisy. He likes to listen to himself talk. Liv's doing a little better with the potty issues and she has been sleeping tons. It's good for her, she must be growing. She's so cute the way she talks. Lately she says she needs some primacy(privacy)when she's in the bathroom. Sommer's doing well and been going to school nicely. It's hard to believe we're in the last week of April, only 2 months of grade 2. I'm continuing to work on my weight. I better work a little harder for Hawaii. Look forward to the new toe picture. It's nasty.

Toe Day 5

 

Well it doesn't get much grosser, except that we haven't seen the toe remains yet. But don't worry I'll blog it. Today Sean went to a podiatrist and got an x-ray. His toe wasn't broken. The next step was to remove the nail. He froze it fortunately which Sean has actually enjoyed because he has no pain right now. There was a large blood blister under the nail that had to be popped. The Dr. said that he will feel relief now and he'll be on his way to healing.

Sunday

I'm sitting on my couch blogging on my laptop. Thanks Scott. Yesterday he set up our house so we are wireless. It's pretty sweet. For those of you who thought Sean's toe was gross in that picture, you should see it now. In fact I really need to put another picture on. Yesterday he stuck a pin underneath his toenail. You know the top between the skin and the nail. Blood oozed out and it's been oozing ever since. Poor Sean, its really brutal, and really hard for him to walk around. He's had one injury after another lately. At least his toe is hurting so bad that his back isn't bothering him. We made it to church pretty much on time. Sundays are so tiring. The children were good though, and they all looked really cute. We got a new young women's presidency today. Chances are they will keep me as the pianist though. I don't know why they wouldn't. We are heading to Mom and Dad's for dinner later which is nice. It's nice not to have to cook dinner. I have chocolate chip banana bread cooking and it smells yummy. Not the best thing for my diet however. I think I deserve one piece. I'm down 11 pounds now. Yay!

TGIF and the Toe

Another week of school and work is accomplished. YAY! Today I took some stuff to our stake clothing and housewares giveaway. I took Sommer's princess bedding and accessories and it was kind of hard for me to let it go. I was her choice for her first little room. I'm such a sap. Anyway, some other little girl can enjoy it now. Sean got injured again this morning. A heavy class casserole dish fell out of the fridge and onto his big toe. His toenail turned entirely black. .
At work he thought he would relieve some of the pressure in it and therefore some of the pain. So he tried to laser a hole in his toenail. He got halfway through the nail and figured that the laser might cauterize the injury not allowing the blood to escape so he switched to his drill. Ahh the many uses of dental equiptment. All of his staff were watching. When he got through the nail he said blood squirted out. Lovely. Double click on the picture for a nice enlarged view. You can see the hole he drilled. Unfortunately this did not help it feel better so he has been hobbling around the office all day. He figures that it will help it to heal quieker Let's hope he's right. Today was beach day at Sommer's school. She's excited just to get home and bounce. I think the person who loves the trampoline the most is Erik. He squeals and laughs every time we take him on it. Tonight we have an ward party. It's called a Night in Tuscany... an Italian theme. It should be fun.

Jump Jump Bounce Bounce

Yesterday was wednesday as most of you are probably aware. Erik had a bath in the morning. He spent most of the time in a crunch position watching his magical feet kicking in the water. We had Wendy's for lunch with Sommer and then went to Zeller's to spend some of my "free" money. I got some summer shoes for the kids and a spring coat for Sommer and a big huge plastic storage container to pack up all my maternity clothes and get them out of my closet. I doubt I'll be using them again but I'll keep them around for a little while just in case. Then we stopped by the Pearson's so Tayler and Olivia could "play" for a little while. The playing is really more like fighting sometimes.
The best part of the day was when Sean arrived home from work and we set up the trampline. The girls were so excited. I practically had to drag them off to get them to bed. Sean and I both had our turns and it actually has really good bounce. It was really fun. Andrea stopped by to talk deck plans. Scott and Erin and the kids came over to try out the new tramp.
I definitely think it was a good buy. The kids will have lots of fun on it. It got them nice and tired for bed. They were pretty much instantly asleep.

As far as today goes, I need to tidy up and get some stuff for work done. I'm sure there will be more jump jump, bounce bounce.

Trampoline

Exciting news... we bought a trampline tonight at Costco of course. Hopefully we'll be able to get it set up tomorrow so the kids can start jumping like crazy. It has a safety net around it and it is springless. Sean's gone to play basketball at the church so I get to do bedtime by myself. It's a good TV night, Gilmore Girls, American Idol and House. So at least I can do that.

Tuesday Morning

It's tuesday morning as the title indicates. Back to work for Sean after a 4 day weekend is always a bummer. Sommer went off to school pretty happily which was surprising since she didn't fall asleep until 11:00pm. Liv, Erik and I are heading out to go visiting teaching this morning. I haven't been a very good visiting teacher the past couple of months so I need to repent. Sorry Wendy and Jen! Yesterday we just did stuff around the house in the morning and then Sean went golfing with my Dad....his first 9 of the season. Very exciting! They had a fun time. All the girls and the munchkins went to Costco...again. That sentence will probably be in a lot of my posts. I forced everyone to buy a case of water. We are going to buy one every time we go to help stock up for our food storage. I talked to Kerri on the phone for a while after dinner. We are planning a trip to Cancun in the fall. It sounds really fun. She heads to Palm Springs today for her big business party weekend. She's supposed to blog it when she gets back. Melinda has gone insane. It's finally happened. I think she was on the computer all day except for when she was at Costco. She did find some cool stuff though. Shout out to Melin. Well it's time to get ready. Have a good day!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone! Apparently I need to make my blog a little more interesting so I can keep up with cousin Scott. No I'm not bitter Judy. Anyway it's been a nice weekend with our little family. We started out on Thursday night by having Grace over for a sleepover. The girls had a lot of fun and were pretty well behaved except for the mud incident. They didn't get quite enough sleep but that's sleepovers for you. Actually they got up at 6:00am. Fortunately they didn't get me and Sean up. They got themselves dressed, made their beds and made their own breakfasts. That afternoon we went to Costco to buy a trampoline, but snooze you lose at Costco. They were all sold out. They are supposed to be getting more so we'll have to keep checking. Friday night our friends Andrew and Lucy and their kids came over and we had a movie night. We watched the Chronicles of Narnia which happened to be quite appropriate for Good Friday. It was fun.

Saturday when we woke up our house was covered in chocolate eggs. It seems the Easter Bunny came and left a lot of goodies. The girls had a great time finding eggs and finally their Easter baskets. Grace came over and we colored eggs. Saturday night was bath night to be beautiful for Easter Sunday. The girls have beautiful dresses and we got Erik his first suit. Sean and I watched The Passion of the Christ after the kids were asleep. I can't say that I enjoyed watching it but today I'm glad I saw it. I had to kind of disconnect while I was watching it because it was so brutal. I would say that it helped open my eyes to what it may have been like.

I made it to church a little early today. I sang in the choir today. We did 3 songs and I think they went pretty well. A family in our ward sat with us to help with our kids. Thanks Kearls! Olivia loves Sis. Kearl. Today we are having a mexican Easter dinner at my parents. There is a yummy smelling pork roast cooking in my kitchen. Well that's all for now.

Molly Maid day again so I've cleaning so my house can be cleaned. Thank you Sean! Yesterday was also cleaning for the most part. I put together Olivia's new bedroom. I got her really cute new bedding. I still need to do a valance and hang some art work. We are continuing to get little stuff done around the house like the curtain rods and new curtains in our bedroom, hanging some more pictures etc. I really want to re-do the guest bathroom on the main floor so I'll probably tackle that soon. Erin had a stomach bug in the afternoon so her kids came over for a while. Matthew had his first driving lesson into our garage door. I was glad Scott blogged it first because I didn't want to make them feel worse. I saw that the car was moving so I ran outside and Matt was in the drivers seat with the door open. He looked like a deer caught in headlights. His big eyes were huge. The car stopped moving because of the garage door. He jumped out and I jumped in. He said to me " I won't do it again". I backed up the car. Fortunately the damage wasn't that bad. We won't be suing the Wolffs. Weight loss is moving right along. I'm down 9.5 pounds as of this morning. YAY! I think LA Weight Loss and Nursing make a pretty good team. Sommer and Sean get tomorrow off for Good Friday. I think we are having Grace sleep over tonight. They have been begging me. I'm looking forward to the long weekend.

Sean's Talk on the Gift of the Holy Ghost

A month ago my oldest daughter Sommer was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In preparation for this event, I had a chance to study the doctrine of baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost. Today I would like to speak about the gift of the Holy Ghost.

As we know, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, which are true. From this scripture we can conclude that we cannot have faith in something that is not true. Similarly, it is impossible for us to have faith if our understanding of a Gospel truth is incorrect. Consequently, I would like to preface my remarks with a review of the Holy Ghost by answering the following questions: 1.) Who is the Holy Ghost?; 2.) What is His purpose?; and 3.) By what power does He fulfill His responsibilities?

Who is the Holy Ghost?
The first article of faith states, “We believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.” The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead. Unlike our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, He is a personage of Spirit, not possessing a body of flesh and bones.(DC 130:22) The Holy Ghost has size and dimensions. He does not fill the immensity of space, and cannot be everywhere present in person at the same time.”(Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 1, P. 38)

What is the purpose of the Holy Ghost?
The scriptures teach that the Holy Ghost guides us to truth and shows us things to come (John 16:13). He teaches us all things and brings all things to our remembrance (John 14:26) He testifies of the Father and of the Son (John 15:26, 3 Ne 28:11). He enlightens our minds and fills us with joy (DC 11:13). He cleanses us from sin and comforts us in our adversity. His mission is to teach us all truth, and ultimately guide the sincere seekers of truth back to their Heavenly home.

By what power does He fulfill His responsibilities?
The Holy Ghost is able to do these things by directing a power, known as the Light of Christ. Just as the rays of the sun are felt by all people, so the scriptures in John teach that the Light of Christ “lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”(John 1:9) D&C 88 explains that the Light of Christ “proceedeth forth from the presence of God to fill the immensity of space. . . (It) is in all things, which giveth life to all things,. . . even the power of God.” The prophet Mormon taught that the Light of Christ “is given to every man, that he may know good from evil.” (Moro. 7:16). Elder Wirthlin in the April 2003 General Conference said, “The Light of Christ is the divine influence that allows every man, woman, and child to distinguish between good and evil. It encourages all to choose the right, to seek eternal truth, and to learn again the truths that we knew in our premortal existence but have forgotten in mortality.”

The Holy Ghost and the Light of Christ are often confused with each other because of the other names they have in common. In the scriptures both the Holy Ghost and the Light of Christ are referred to as: “the Spirit,” “the Spirit of God,” “the Spirit of the Lord,” and “the Spirit of Truth.” Although the names given them are sometimes the same, the Light of Christ and the Holy Ghost are separate and distinct.

In clarifying this distinction, Joseph Feilding Smith said, ”The Holy Ghost should not be confused with the Spirit [the Light of Christ] which fills the immensity of space and which is everywhere present. This other Spirit is impersonal and has no size, nor dimensions; it proceeds forth from the presence of the Father and the Son and is in all things. We should speak of the Holy Ghost as a personage as ‘he’ and this other Spirit as ‘it,’ although when we speak of the power or gift of the Holy Ghost we may properly say ‘it.’ (Doctrines of Salvation, Vol. 1, p.49)”

I like to think of the Holy Ghost as the “Spirit” with a capital “S” and the Light of Christ as the spirit with a lower case “s”. Simply stated, the light of Christ (or the spirit) is the power of the Holy Ghost. He uses it to fulfill His duties.

The Holy Ghost channels and directs the Light of Christ in varying degrees to God’s children. Just as a magnifying glass focuses the energy of the sun, the Holy Ghost can focus the Light of Christ (or the spirit) to the sincere seekers of truth. This increased intensity of the spirit is described as “a manifestation of the Holy Ghost”. Those who investigate the Church are familiar with manifestations of the Spirit.

For example, the prophet Moroni promises that when we study the Book of Mormon and seek to know whether it is true, sincerely and with real intent, God will “manifest” the truth of it unto us, “by the power of the Holy Ghost.”(Moro. 10:4) On the Day of Pentacost, 3,000 individuals experienced the manifestation of the Holy Ghost after Peter had taught them the truths about the resurrected Lord. Acts 2:37-38 The term “pricked in their hearts” refers to the Holy Ghost manifesting the truth of Peter’s words to the people and encouraging them to take action. These feelings however were not enough, for when they questioned what they should do, Peter responded, (verse 38) If these people had not followed Peter’s counsel to be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost which convinced them of the truth would have left them.

The gift of the Holy Ghost is more comprehensive than a manifestation of the Holy Ghost. Elder Charles W. Penrose (Journal of Discourses, 23:350.) taught that a person who receives the gift of the Holy Ghost receives “a greater and higher endowment of the same spirit which enlightens every man that comes into the world.” Unlike the manifestations of the Holy Ghost, which are fleeting, the gift of the Holy Ghost is the promised right to the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost’s power.

This gift is received only after baptism by the laying on of hands by those who have the authority. We learn about this in Acts 19:2-6 when Paul visited certain disciples in Ephesus who had been baptized without receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. From this historical account, we learn 3 things—the importance of baptism by proper authority, the necessity of receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost after baptism, and the performance of this ordinance by the laying on of hands.



Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost is essential to salvation. In John 3:3, Jesus taught Nicodemus, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus then gave the obvious response, “How can a man be born when he is old?” To this Jesus clarified, “except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” It is by baptism that we are “born of water” and it is by receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost that we are “born of the Spirit”.

It is by virtue of these two ordinances that we are made clean from our sins. Nephi taught, “For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism by water; and then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and by the Holy Ghost.”(2 Ne. 31:17) Being clean allows us to enter the Father’s kingdom as clarified in 1 Ne 10:21 which says, “no unclean thing can dwell with God.” Fortunately this cleansing process is not a one-time event. The Lord has seen fit to provide a way for us to receive the cleansing effect of our baptism on a weekly basis through the partaking of the sacrament. As we recommit to the promises we made at baptism, the Lord renews the promised remission of our sins so that we “might always have his Spirit to be with us.”

Pres. James E. Faust in May 1989 General Conference highlighted some of the benefits of having the gift of the Holy Ghost. He said, “The comforting Spirit of the Holy Ghost can abide with us twenty-four hours a day: when we work, when we play, when we rest. That sustaining influence can be with us in joy and sorrow, when we rejoice as well as when we grieve.
I believe the Spirit of the Holy Ghost is the greatest guarantor of inward peace in our unstable world. It can be more mind-expanding and can make us have a better sense of well-being than any chemical or other earthly substance. It will calm nerves; it will breathe peace to our souls. This Comforter can be with us as we seek to improve. It can function as a source of revelation to warn us of impending danger and also help keep us from making mistakes. It can enhance our natural senses so that we can see more clearly, hear more keenly, and remember what we should remember. It will help us work out our insecurities. It can help us learn to forgive. It will also help us solve crises of faith. It is a way of maximizing our happiness.”
It is important to remember that receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost does not guarantee we will have the constant influence of the Holy Ghost in our lives, it only promises that right. As with all gifts, this gift must be received and accepted to be enjoyed. If we figuratively put this gift in a closet, never to be used or treasured, we will not reap the benefits of this prized possession. Elder Bruce R. McConkie explained, ”The Gift of the Holy Ghost is the right to have the constant companionship of the Spirit; the actual enjoyment of the gift, the actual receipt of the companionship of the Spirit, is based on personal righteousness.” (Mormon Doctrine, p. 313)

Just as the Liahona worked for Lehi’s family according to their faith, diligence, and obedience, so we must take an active part in accessing the power of the gift of the Holy Ghost. If we are slothful or become complacent with this gift, we may find ourselves in a similar predicament to Lehi’s family--not progressing in our journey, not traveling a direct course, and being afflicted.(Alma 37:41-42) The gift of the Holy Ghost is our compass, quietly whispering to us in a still small voice, directions we should take in our lives.
Elder Wirthlin said, “I fear that some members of the Lord’s Church “live far beneath our privileges” with regard to the gift of the Holy Ghost. 15 Some are distracted by the things of the world that block out the influence of the Holy Ghost, preventing them from recognizing spiritual promptings. If we are not careful, the things of this world can crowd out the things of the Spirit.
Some are spiritually deadened and past feeling because of their choices to commit sin. Others simply hover in spiritual complacency with no desire to rise above themselves and commune with the Infinite.
If they would open their hearts to the refining influence of this unspeakable gift of the Holy Ghost, a glorious new spiritual dimension would come to light. Their eyes would gaze upon a vista scarcely imaginable. They could know for themselves things of the Spirit that are choice, precious, and capable of enlarging the soul, expanding the mind, and filling the heart with inexpressible joy.”
Brothers and sisters, are we taking advantage of this wonderful gift or does it sit idle in our lives? Are we familiar with the gift of the Holy Ghost or are we like the Lamanites in the Book of Mormon who “at the time of their conversion, were baptized with fire and with the Holy Ghost, and they knew it not.”(3 Ne 9:20)
I am grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost. I have felt it in my life and seen it work in the lives of my family. Through this gift, my knowledge of the Gospel has been expanded. I have been protected from danger. I have been directed when faced with difficult decisions. Through this gift, I have received peace in times of trial. May we call upon this gift every day and not take it for granted. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

These are some of the first pictures we took after we went digital. This is Sept/02. Look how much she has grown up. Sommer was 4 at the time. This was a month before Olivia was born. She's so cute. I need to get her dancing again. STOP GROWING UP SO FAST! 

I got a ticket yesterday. BOOO Watch out for those construction zones. It was right after the speed change sign which I totally spaced. Oh well....... Erik had his first Arrowroot cookie yesterday. He attacked it. He had both his hands grabbing it and trying to shove the whole thing in his mouth. He weighs 16.5 pounds now. Erin came over while the boys were at church meetings and we had 5 out of our 6 kids in the bathtub. They had a great time. My bathroom did not have such a great time.

Another Sunday church accomplished.... and we actually made it for the sacrament. Mimi and Papa were there for Sean's talk so they helped with the children which was really nice. Sean gave an excellent talk on the Holy Ghost. Good information and very well presented. Taz and her mother came to hear him which was nice of them. The children were quite well behaved and Sommer and Liv both enjoyed there classes. When we arrived home I ran up to change so I could start the beef stew in the crock pot and when I came back down stairs Liv was feeding some Cheetos to Erik. His mouth was all orange. He looked like he was enjoying himself quite a bit. It was funny. That's what you get when you leave a 3 year old in charge. Then Liv was begging me to put her into bed. She has been sleeping a lot lately. So now Sommer and I are enjoying some peace and quiet while the 2 little ones are asleep in their beds. Well I should go grab some lunch. Choir is at 2:30. The first week of weight loss is done and I'm down 6 pounds. That's a good start if I do say so myself.

I said to Sean last night how it's so sad that the baby months go by so fast. Here's Liv at 4 months which is about Erik's age right now. See what I mean....way too fast. 

Today is Sean's Mom's birthday. Happy Birthday Mom. This week is flying by pretty much like any other. Sommer's class is taking swimming lessons first thing in the morning. Sommer however is not taking them so she doesn't need to be there until after recess. Melinda and Michael got back from their cruise. She came to visit last night. Sounds like a cruise is a good idea. I hopped over to Costco yesterday afternoon. So awesome to have it so close. Then Livy and I went to visit Lucy and Tayler. Sean's been busy preparing his talk for Sunday. It's on the Holy Ghost. He will have a very busy church weekend with the leadership "retreat" See you sunday night honey. Got to run Sommer to school now.

This picture had me cracking up today. It's the pre-everybody stick your tongue out shot. Sean, Brad and Melinda are particularly funny. Grace is all out going for it and Cade is just smiling like look at the family of idiots I married in to. 

Back to school after spring break is so fun. I always hate trying to get back into the routine. Sommer's class is taking swimming lessons the next 2 weeks so she gets to sleep in starting tomorrow. She is not quite up for swimming lessons yet. We had a low key weekend watching conference. The 2 best talks were Elder Nelson on marriage and of course President Hinkley. It felt a little like President Hinkley was wrapping things up though. It will be hard when he goes. He's been around my whole life. Monday we ran a bunch of work errands and then went on a Tomagochi version 3 hunt with Sommer. She won the March madness picks against her Dad so she got to choose a toy. Olivia is regressing a little right now with the binkie and the pottie. She wants Erik's binkies and is having quite a few little accidents. Apparently this is not uncommon when a new baby enters the picture. I'm down 31/2 pounds since Sunday. YAY! Lots more to go but I'm glad to be going at least.

Happy April Fools! We had a very nice evening last night with the Kamelchuks at the Bear's Den. The food was delicious and they are very nice people. We left Erik with Carol and her family. He seemed to take a real liking to Rosella. It was the first time we had left him for that long but he did just fine. Thanks Carol and family! Today I went back to LA Weight Loss. Let the weight loss begin. I also picked up the pictures of the 3 babies that we had taken at Walmart. They turned out really cute. Today should be pretty low key watching conference and hanging out with the kids.
