Sommer's Fourth Grade Farewell

Well today they had a little 4th grade graduation for the kids at Tuscany School. Next year they will be heading to a new school for grade 5. They had a nice little ceremony where they walked across the gym and received a certificate from their teacher and the principal. Then there was a luncheon for the parents and the students. They sang the song Umbrella and I started to cry and I am not a cryer. Sommer has had a really good experience at this school and we are both sad that she has to go. She has loved her teacher Mrs. Jensen.

On Sunday night Olivia sprained her ankle on the trampoline and let me just say she is not the type of child who sits around and does nothing very easily. She is going to go to school for the last day tomorrow so hopefully she can hobble around ok.

Sean and Scott ran a half marathon today in Cochrane. It was a beautiful day for it. Here's some pictures from the finish.

Heading to Montana Again

So I just broke into Erin and Scott's house and I'm using their computer while my kids are playing with the toys. They are not home. I am killing time waiting for Sommer to be done school so we can be on our way to Montana again. Why am I not at my own house you ask, well the Molly's are cleaning. Why are we going to Montana yet again you ask, well we bought a little place on Foys lake right outside of Kalispell. We are going down to do some set up work so that we can play there this summer. We are just a little excited. It will be the second time we've ever seen the place and the first we've actually stayed there. Sean's parents have been working like crazy helping us get things set up. I've been hesitant to tell people about it for fear they will judge me in some way. I'm getting over that as you can tell. Judge me if you must, but coming to visit me would be even better. Anyway that has been our big news as of late. Other than that it is life as usual. I am really looking forward to school being over. Enough already!! All the extra curricular lessons are over and that is nice. Oh guess what, I'm actually wearing my hair in a pony tail today. It has been so long since I've been able to do that. I feel sort of old for pony tails but you should have seen what my hair looked like today. It couldn't be helped. Well that's all the babbling I have time for.
