Well since Amy actually posted something I figured I better get on it. Can you believe it is the last day of August? Why do the good times always go so fast? We have had a fun and busy summer. Montana twice, windermere, Amy's visit, and Cindy's visit. This week I started working on projects that I have wanted to get done around my house, hanging pictures, making valances, recoving my ottoman, and covering my foam for my bench seat. It's amazing what you can do with a glue gun and a staple gun. Tonight we are having the second sleep over of the week with Grace. They are giggling in the kitchen and eating popcorn and hot chocolate. Erik fell asleep and I got to watch the movie Elizabethtown. I had a girls afternoon out with Mom and Erin today. We went to Earls, Homesense (where I got some pictures for Olivia's room) and Walmart. Shopping is so much easier without the toddlers along. Erin and I were trying to make sure we had all the things the kids need for school. It gives me some anxioty (sp?) to start up with school again. It's hard to send your babies into the world. You'd like to just keep them in a bubble but you can't. The girls actually seem excited for school which is good. Sommer is starting grade 3 at the new school right across the field from our house which is awesome. Olivia is starting pre-school at the Tuscany club. It's going to be a whole new world for me because I won't have to drive to Varsity every day to have lunch with Sommer.
Here's some updates for you. The yard is almost done and it looks great. Sean is installing the sprinkler system this weekend. The fire pit is now down and we're hoping for our first marshmallow roast tomorrow night. Anyone interested? Erik is crawling EVERYWHERE. No teeth yet 19.5 pounds and standing up on things. He growls like a tiger and says ooooo alot. He loves to follow his sisters everywhere. Olivia is finally doing better with the potty. The latest thing she said that cracked me up was..... She woke up early in the morning and Sean was the only one up. He asked her if she had a good sleep. She grumpily said no, he said why not and she said, "I had a bad dream" he said what about, she said "I dreamed I was married to you". Sommer is doing great. She finally weights 50 pounds. She is growing her bangs out. Everyday she is getting more confident and learning to conquer her fears. As for me and my weight loss... let's just say I took a bit of a break in August but I'm back at now and I've lost 4.5 of the 6 pounds that I gained. Well I should probably get these girls to bed. Grace is hear giggling at me and looks a bit delirious.
