Olivia

Olivia has been very sick for over a week now. As I mentioned on Sommer's birthday the doctor we took her to sent us to the hospital with her. She has had a very high fever, hives, and joint swelling and pain to the point where she couldn't walk. The hospital put her on an IV which was almost more painful for her mother, although the technicians were brilliant. They did a bunch of bloodwork, swabbed her throat, urine sample you name it. Every thing came back negative so they think she has some kind of a virus. Today she didn't get fevered until 7:00pm so she is improving. Her pain and swelling is gone. Tomorrow we have another doctor appointment so hopefully they will be able to tell us something useful. I am hopeful that we are at the end. Maybe tomorrow there will be no fever at all. She is a very brave, tough little girl.
