Well it's Tuesday so we are back in the swing of things for the week. It is proving to be busy as usual. All the lessons for the girls start again this week. Today Liv has ballet and Sommer has piano. Liv also needs to get a urine test. She just finished another antibiotic for her bladder and they want to make sure that it actually got rid of the infection. She seems to be feeling good so that is a good sign. Tommorrow I am taking her to a naturopath so it will be intereting to hear her take. Olivia has also been referred to a urologist. I'm not sure yet when the appointment will actually be. It's kind of ridiculous. I have to wait until March for Erik's test results from his November ultrasound and VCUG.
Ok so now it is Saturday. I got side tracked as I usually
And now it is Sunday night, but I will not give up. Ok Liv's holding out seems to be infection free at the moment (knock on wood). We saw a naturopath on Friday for her and she did some voodoo with crystals and muscle testing... end result, no food allergies and the problem is in her kidney not bladder. She is now on a course of homeopathic medicine to help heal the kidneys. Liv is so tough!!
Sommer had her celebration of learning at school on Thursday. This is where they show their parents all they have been working on. She is doing great and seems to be improving. She showed me this music that she composed on the computer with a program called Garage Band. Move over Timberland. I was impressed by how good it was and how complicated with the different rhythms etc. It actually sounded like a good song.
Erik is totally into books. He doesn't speak but if you ask him to find a picture in the book he can. Yesterday the kids spent a really long time playing out in the piles of snow we just got even though it was -10. Erik had his own little showel and was helping his dad shovel the drive way.
Friday night Sean and I watched Live Free Die Hard, go Bruce! Saturday night we were supposed to go to a Fireside but I was an emotional basket case so we stayed home. I think I am starting menopause. Church was church and we went for dinner at Mom and Dad's. We are starting back up with alternating houses for Sunday dinner. It is really nice to have church done by noon. It was -22 on the way home, ouch!
Well it is time to put the kids to bed and read some Harry Potter. Dumbledore got killed last night, so sad. Tomorrow is late entry for school so we don't have to be there until 10am. Yay!!!!!!
Oh I bought an actually evening gown for my cruise. It is black and white and goes to the floor. I've never worn anything like it in my life. It is really pretty. I will post a picture.
